Eternity's too fast

We're together today
Tomorrow you'll be gone
Just another day
Probably spent alone

Remembering things
That happened long ago
Castles and kings
A never-ending history

Though we don't know
About tomorrow
Yesterday is forever

The past will never change
History stays the same
The future is unknown
But eternity is yesterday

What it's about; Pretty self explanatory, I'd think. Nothing in the past will ever change, while we don't know what the future will bring. Sometimes it's easier to think about things that have already passed and can't be rewritten, rather than focusing on things we're unsure about.
